Guys. I can’t even begin to describe how much fun this family was! The joy, excitement, and craziness that this extended family shared was immense, I don’t think I’ve ever laughed that hard during a famiyl shoot!!

I’ve said it before and I’ll probably say it a thousand times more but I will always take as many portraits of kids as I can. It’s a surefire way to capture their personalities.

Knox was really playing it up for the camera haha. He was flexing and flirting - all at the encouragement of his entire family haha he was eating up the attention and really started to get into it!

Little Piper didn’t want anything to do with pictures after the first 5 minutes or maybe it was 3 minutes 😉) haha. We let her run free and do her thing. She mostly splashed in the waves and ran from whoever tried to pick her up haha. Every time she ran by me I’d stop what ever I was doing and grab some pictures… and if she got close enough someone would swoop her up and hold her close!

Sweet Molly Grace did all her own poses and totally owned it! You can see how sweet, outgoing, and sassy she is 💃🏼 She spent every second she wasn’t in the pictures hunting for sea shells!

Being 16 is hard work but Lilly makes it look easy. She has such a confident personality and was so attentive to her siblings and cousin. The bond between her and her dad is full of so much joy and laughter. You can tell He’s the jokester in the bunch. He kept whispering in peoples ears telling them how he wanted them to pose and keeping it a secret until I was ready to snap the picture. It made for a lot of laughs!

I’m beginning to fall in love with lifestyle family photography with extended family. I feel so privileged to document these normally rare gatherings (not to sound too much like a nature show narrator 😅) and I cannot express in words how much these pictures are worth! To be able to look back on these photos in 5, 10, or even 30 years as a way to remember this sweet and busy time in life is truly an amazing thing.
